Swimming Pool

A life long dream come true! What you see below represent the many stages of the project; from the intial hole digging and framing, through, plumbing, concreting, tileing, laying the deck, landscaping, followed by a brief rest until the fence was installed , plastering, filling with water and finally swimming!

Of course once the water was in the weather took a turn for the worst. However that was not going to stop us, after all we were brought up swimming in the sea off the coast of Wales. Owen commented that with the grass around the pool it was like the "Rock", a reference to the old outdoor pool in Aberdare. FYI water temperature was 74F or 23C over the first few days

If you are passing by this summer please pop in for a dip - the water is warmer now.
